'Scuse the big splodge of fake tan on my neck...
My thoughts when buying Whirl, "If I wear this lipstick will I look like Kylie Jenner?" Well as you can see, no. Partly because I'm old enough to be her (albeit cool, the type who will take her to gigs) auntie, and partly because we're pretty much opposites in every physical way.
Either way, wearing a slightly different lipstick makes you feel slightly different, and even if I'm only making an effort to buy a stuffed crust pizza from Asda (which I did today), it makes these mundane things a bit more...better.
Mac Whirl is a matte finish but it's not overly drying, so if your lips are suffering from the wrath of winter you can still be a wearer. The colour's a sort of 90's brown that wouldn't be out of place on the set of Friends and it'll last for a few hours - I tested it scientifically by singing along to Justin Bieber on a two hour car journey.
Price wise Mac lipsticks are always a'rising and now stand at £15.50 which is a lot but I have no willpower. If you do then there are a tonne of "dupes" out there that I hear are just as good!
