My Everyday Makeup

Today Tabitha shares her daily make up, Tabitha's blog is good ol' mix of fashion and makeup so make sure you have a peruse!

Hmmm how do you start a guest post without seeming cheesy?! Well, I'm Tabitha and I blog over at Scaredtoast....some of you may know me, some may not. With Eloise away I'm doing my best to be a good substitute, and as the lady herself would say, I'm here with a post showing all you Nosy Nora's my everyday make up!

 I tend to be quite fickle with my make up; I love to change it up with different eye shadows or blushes, but this fairly neutral everyday make up means I can really chop and change lipsticks and create a new look every time.
 Products used:

 * Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow! Foundation *
 * Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer *
 * Hd Brows Palette *
 * MUA Heaven & Earth Palette *
 * Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24 Hour in On & On Bronze *
 * L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara *
 * Rimmel Soft Kohl Eye Liner in Sable *
 * The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain in Bronze Glimmer *
 * ELF Mineral Glow *
 *The Body Shop Baked to Last Bronzer in Warm Glow *
 * The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer *
 * Real Techniques Buffing Brush *
 * Lily Lolo Small Powder Brush *
 * The Body Shop Extra Virgin Minerals Powder Foundation Brush *
 * Real Techniques Blush Brush *
 * The Body Shop Slanted Brush *
 * H&M Eye Shadow Brush *
 * No.7 Eyeshadow Blend and Contour Brush *

 Wow, when you write it all down the amount of products used seems excessive! I apply the Colour Tattoo across my lid, run a little eye liner along the lash line and then press the second from right eyeshadow from the top row of the MUA palette to darken it up slightly. And in the spirit of Louise, I thought I'd add up the make up products to see how much my daily face costs. And the total? £135.46 (excluding lipsticks and brushes)....which I don't think is too bad! The majority of products I'm using at the moment are drugstore, so I expect to see that price rocket when I'm using my Urban Decay and MAC again! Have you totted up how much your face is worth?

    1. Yeah, I'm secretly quite pleased with myself! I have been using my cheaper stuff recently though...today however I used 3 MAC eyeshadows, so that would add £30 to the total! x

  2. I use that Body Shop baked bronzer! Isn't it so so good? I love the tone of the colours :) It's kind of scary how much money we spend on stuff for our faces isn't it?!

    1. Yes! I stopped using it for like a year, but I've fallen back in love with it over the Summer x

  3. Love Real Techniques brushes! I should count up how much my face is worth, although quite honestly I don't think the amounts I've been seeing is a lot, as most products last ages. There's also the case that we'd happily spend that money on a few dresses we wear maybe once a month, but we 'wear' our faces every day! x

    1. Very good point....if you consider that mascara costs like £10 but we have it for a good 6 weeks + it really doesn't work out as too expensive x

  4. You're the only other blogger I know to use The Body Shop bronzer - isn't it lovely!? I really really want to try out the HD Brows kit, and the Real Techniques brushes... Would you recommend? x

  5. That's definitely not a bad total! Mine was around £112 which I thought was bad, but I was wearing my cheapest blusher (FashionistA) and cheap mascara and eyeliner (Collection 2000)! I dread to think what it would be like if I used my most expensive products! x
