DIY Beauty Box

beauty box beauty box
I’d like to say I thought of this myself but I actually stole the idea from Leanne,  as much as I try to be thoughtful with gifts I always seem to end up playing it safe with something completely mundane like perfume, jewellery or worse still….a voucher : /
The personalised beauty box seemed a perfect idea for my mum, my parents live in a sort of middle of nowhere town in southern Spain where any non Spanish beauty products cost a small fortune (last year I spotted a medium sized can of Elnett spray for £9, yes NINE POUNDS) and are pretty hard to come by. They’re also the kind to be annoyed if we go overboard with the costs of gifts so this fitted into my budget just fine, the only thing that might be a bit gasp worthy is the postage as I’ve left it to the last minute as usual!
I managed to put this together for just under £25 but looking at it now I kind of wish I’d added more to it. What do you think? Will you also be thieving Leanne’s idea?

  1. I did this for my 2 sisters and girlfriends at christmas! I put chocolate, bath bombs, jewellery, vouchers and a bit of make up in each one and they loved them.

  4. I've done something similar for my bestie and sister for their birthdays. I've added in some chocolate, soaps, nail wraps etc, too.

  5. I did this at christmas with my empty beauty boxes, if you go somewhere like Cheshire Oaks they have a Body Shop Outlet where everything is 40% off so I put in all the mini things from there that ended up costing me less a £1 each!

  14. This is such a lovely present! I already do this kinda thing for people I know but I love how you've incorporated the fact that your parents find it hard to buy cheap products in Spain into the idea! Very thoughtful and I'm sure your mum's going to really love it!

  17. This is a really good idea! I love how you can make it do personalised according to the person! And you can add as many different things as you like! Maybe do a mini one of these like really mini (in cute gift boxes) with sweets/chocolates, as wedding favours at your wedding? Xx

  24. I think this is such a good idea, especially when there are these high prices for beauty products in Spain! I immediately thought that this would be a good gift for my friend who always complains about the content of the glossybox she has ordered. ;)

  28. Who does not have any desire to possess an auto? Practically every one of us, sooner or later of time or alternate, has envisioned about owning an auto, at some point later on. The motivation behind why the greater part of us require some serious energy and watchful consideration to go to a choice about this matter is that, fundamentally, purchasing an auto is in itself a strong venture.
