This Moan Might Lose Me Some Cred

In the whole year I've been there, today was one of the worst days at work I've ever had so I actually couldn't wait to whack on some comfys, get the kettle brewin' and slap on some Made in Chelsea.

Jumper: French Connection, Shorts: Miss Selfridge

This jumper was bought for me last year on a trip to London (which was fab btw, I definitely suggest anyone who's planning a trip there to check out Easyhotel for a cheap stay) as an early Christmas present from the boyfriend. I was going through an animalsonanything phase at the time and also got a zebra jumper but this has stood the test of time - and my evil washing machine! Alas the cheap camden zebra jumper has not, rip itchy knitted friend....
The shorts have also battled father time, I got them in my 2nd year of uni which would be three years ago now *gasp*! I'm clearly getting old, and the first sentence of this post isn't really doing much to dispute this.

To expand on my work troubles; for once it wasn't being bombarded with complaints and accusations that made my day hellish, it was just the bitchy atmosphere in the office making everyone feel uncomfortable. I work with 13 other women who are mostly close to retirement but treat the office like a playground and constantly bitch and make up little sing songs : / There are three other girls around my age but one of them is actually crazy. She's 25 but will TELL ON YOU (!!!) to the supervisors if you do something wrong like a slimy little Randal from recess, and has spent the last three days bragging about how she's reported her neighbour, complained to the council about not being able to go to swim aerobics, annnd how she triumphantly got her 23p back from the canteen when they didn't put mushrooms on her breakfast. I. Hate. Her.

Apologies for the rant, it really does sound petty reading it back but it's made my day so gah. Anyone else have pesky colleagues?

Ah well, time to look forward to the finer things in life.....

Note: I wasn't reffering to these "ripped" men, they make me feel a little ill. Just the programme!

  7. Guilty pleasure tv! Love it, I'm secretly obsessed with Jersey Shore, the people are so different to me I find it fascinating.
Being incredibly nosey I'm loving your work rant (sorry), in the office I work in a team with a guy that has REALLY bad B.O. I have to spray perfume all over myself before I go so I can't smell him when he comes near me!

  10. Adorable jumper :) Omg I love Geordie Shore. Trash T.V. at its best. And I agree, the guys are vomtastic, apart from Greg as he seems relatively normal.

  12. Urgh, I hate working in such a bitchy nasty environment. All the little things seem so much worse and when there's so much of it, it all becomes so horrible. Glad you got your comfy kit and some TV, hope you managed to relax. Loving the jumper too, wish more of my clothes survived dodgy washing machines across Europe as well.

  16. Your work colleage sounds an absolute nightmare! I don't really work with anyone i dislike apart from this one guy who is so RUDE, he is so miserable, ignores me, never smiles, he's just ugh! Cannot stand him. Luckily i don't work with him that often because we're on a different shift pattern, but i dread it when i do!

I'm off to catch up on made in chelsea now :)

  17. I have had pesky colleagues. Seriously, I feel for you so much. I worked with this bitter girl who wanted to control everything, and was very bitter and nasty. And moved away to a very similar version of this girl.. and theres absolutely nothing you can do about it, because if you do the atmosphere is just terrible. I hope you're better now. Love the jumer, I really love animals prints too. I have a squirrel one, and a bulldog dog jumpers, both of them are my favs.

  18. Aww cute outfit. It's only human to have a little rant so don't worry [I do it on my blog too lol]...from the above comments it seems like a lot of us know exactly where you're coming from. I have a dislike of bitching too and your dislike of it too shows your good nature, keep your chin up or do what I do [if you can]- put your headphones in :-)
